Friendly note to anyone who wants to get a Venus fly trap! They only grow in one tiny little area, so treat yours right. A big mistake people make is thinking they have to eat bugs to survive, not true! They can survive off of distilled water (never tap! rain water is okay, though I suppose it will depend on where you live) and proper soil.
They are fun! And will trap fruit flies that can find their way to your other plants! They are very sensitive though, so only handle them when absolutely necessary.
