OUCH!

Next time dad maybe you’ll word it a little different for, Ruthie.

My dad did this to me when I was past 10 and the price was higher for 10 and over.

Way to teach your child not to lie.

LOL. I remember my Dad taking us on a train to NYC (from the suburbs). I guess kids 5 and under were free or half-price, but he never clued me in. So when I heard him tell the conductor I was 5, I proudly announced, “No, Daddy! I’m SIX!!!!” I still remember the look on his face. He should have clued me in. I would have understood…even so young.

At a fair and my aunt wanted to get my brother on a ride free and said he was under 5 and I said “No he isn’t!” LOL! The look she gave me.

There is usually a price to pay for trying to get away with something.

I remember my mom doing that with me back in the 60’s

And parents wonder why their kids go wrong these days.

Our youngest is a tiny thing, but that was one stunt Hubby never allowed the kids to pull.

As my mother always said, the wrong is in doing wrong, not in getting caught. People pull stunts like this and then get mad when their children lie to them.

Why can’t people be age-fluid?

If Ruthie is six years old, as the strip above indicates, and James and Joe are presumably the same age, why is it that we’ve never seen them in school?
