Bullet Point One. I thought this was what parents say to kids when trying to coax them to eat their veggies. “Give peas a chance.” Bullet Point Two. I know these strips are created weeks in advance, and I’ve read that Pastis is especially diligent to keep ahead of the game. But for a moment I’ll indulge my fantasy that this episode might have been inspired by my “Give Peace a Chance” lyrics parody in my response to poster “Radish” in the May 7 “Pearls” feedback thread. Bullet Point Three. Stranger things have happened to me lately in relation to comics feedback. I picked up a comic book on the stands a couple of months ago that retold an old “Avengers” story from 1963. In the back of the book they reprinted a letters page from 1963… and there, 54 years later, was a letter I had written then in response to the original story. Bullet Point Four. We now return control of the feedback to you.

Looks like Pig jumped right to the front on the line in the last panel. He’d better mind his p’s and queues.

Cross-mike, Pig, cross-mike. It’s an old radio ploy. We didn’t have those nifty little filter-gadgets back in my day….
But I’d still like a whack at Cartoon-Boy (just for Old Time’s sake)….
