I reached over my laptop to grab something behind it and the eye of a space alien on my t-shirt got really big.

It’s no one’s business how far away I am from the screen! Maybe I just don’t want you see my pillows. What’s wrong with that?

Reminds me of the opening sequence of SCTV, which showed lots of people throwing their TVs out the window.

The guy in the Cindy Brady square looks like he is half in the bag or perhaps hungover from a Christmas day bender then again he might have just used some product from his dispensary as well.

I’ve played in a few online chess tournaments this year, ones that would normally be held in person. There are separate playing interfaces for actually making the moves, ones that have been around for years. But to minimize cheating, these tournaments now require that you also join a Zoom meeting so that they can keep an eye on you and at least try to make sure you aren’t getting outside advice. So you have to have the camera angle set up a bit behind you and to one side, which requires an external camera or a second device.

Granted, playing online saves on the time and expense of travel, but I’ve about had it with this $☠️⚡️⛈, too.

I thought this might be a bit of a pun joke. After all, sitting close to the camera zooms in on him, and it’s a Zoom meeting, so Rat was just trying to cooperate for a change and then his intentions are called into question….

At a prayer zoom meeting last week, we all heard one of the group muttering about getting no audio. This was followed shortly by, “Damn this thing!” which was followed immediately by our preacher’s “Judy, I’m going to mute you.”

Zoom burnout is a real thing. Some companies recognize this and are okay with people turning cameras off during the meeting. Sometimes we start with cameras on and throughout the meeting, people will slowly drop off the camera and keep audio on. No one seems to care or notice.
