When someone asks me that stupid question, “what’s the purpose of life?” I answer, “whose?” They often get the message. Some do not, cannot, and will not.

Love can be scary. Life can be scary. … Fear is understandable.

The purpose in life is “NOT” sitting on a giant pile of poop all of your life!

Living life in fear… Is that really living?

And we thought that the Wise A$$ knew all.

“Joy” describes my childhood. "Love and Joy and Learning describes my last 2 years of high school with my sweetheart and 4 years in college. “Love and Joy” describes my first 2 years of marriage. And “Joy” describes the rest of my life, ignoring people and the news while drinking beer in front of the television watching sports.

Idealistic/Optimistic: The purpose of life is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit.

Cynical/Realistic: We’re here to make as much money for the wealthy people as they can make us do.

If there is no God, then there is no meaning, purpose, nor value in life. There is no accounting for evil. Good and bad are illusory without an objective standard.

But God does exist. The purpose for life is to serve God and to enjoy him forever.

You live, you die, in between you do your duty and reproduce. Life is just stupid, really.
