They didn’t have both UVA and UVB blocking unless you wanted to paint yourself white.

If he is really 26, then I am only a day old!

I had a doctor once ask me “you’re 23, right?”

I don’t know whether he was kidding or not, but I answered “yeah; Celsius”.

I know older women do that a lot, but I’ve only met one older man who never wanted to tell his true age. I always thought men just didn’t do that.

Never knew that Earl was born on Feb. 29…

Got that right. The teenager trapped in this aging frame is getting really panicked.

Twenty-six, give or take a half century.

If you’re going to lie about your age, tell people you’re older than your years, not younger. It’s better to look good for 60 than awful for 40.

Okay, that’s just how old I act.

They evidently didn’t have anything for lying either. :)

I prefer saying things like, “It’s the 20th anniversary of my 20th birthday!”

Today’s Pickles hits home.

After a lifetime of heavy exposure to the sun the tan has taken its toll. Years of never using sunscreens or blockers, finally caught up with me. This afternoon the surgeon is going to play slice and dice on my nose to remove a skin cancer, which is deep enough to require plastic surgery, after it’s removed.

Good thing my nose is big enough that I won’t miss the part cut off !

Seriously, the sun’s Ultra Violet Rays have increased dramatically in the 57 years since I was a teenage lifeguard at the beach. I had a long talk with the dermatologist about this yesterday, and realize my days in the sun are over. I never got “sunburned” in my life but nowadays, in many areas of the world, because of the depletion of the Ozone Layer, people are getting “radiation burns” which are more severe in nature and cause far more damage to the skin.

Anyway, a word to the wise, use an SP30 sunscreen and wear a wide brimmed hat etc. etc. and if you don’t have to be out in the heat of the day, don’t go. Remember " Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen Go Out In The Noonday Sun " !

My mother had red hair and I inherited her skin tone….. I blister and burn after a short time. My father was always in the sun but he eventually died with skin cancer. It’s the shade for me.

That is pretty much the ideal body age to stay at, if we could.

Well I’ve been 21 for the past 20 years now.

Nelson call Earl on his bluff. Ask your mom how old she is.

Got sunburned all over twice when I was about 7. Didn’t know about the danger till later. Wish I had. So far I stay out of the sun as often as I can.
