It’s more like 75% duct tape and 25% WD-40.

Use enough duct tape and you have no need for shoes ! Keep your stick on the ice ;-)

If it needs to stick and doesn’t, use duct tape. If it shouldn’t stick but does, use WD-40. That is all.

Why is he telling his Grandpa this? Shouldn’t his parents take care of things like that? Else all you get is duct tape!

Oddly, one of the things duct tape isn’t good for ducts.

That could be a problem in the washing machine.

It’s a guy thing. My dad had a favorite pair of yard shoes he duct taped together. Mom got so tired of throwing them out just to have Dad rescue them that she finally buried them – no one knows where.

And bailing wire and rubber bands :)

You can use baling wire to fix what’s left.
