Friend of mine had a parrot who liked peanuts, but not to eat. Sheād crunch the shells back and forth in her talons and let the nuts fall to the floor for the dog. I asked the friend if the bird had ever encountered bubble wrap.
When I sent some for her, turns out she was scared to death of the stuff. I hope she at least liked the brazil nuts I wrapped up in it.
Right again Pappy. Things are not always what they seem and people are acting out of fear playing God. I thought it was popcorn. Roscoe thought he left his lighter on the groud and the rat behind Opals chair. see him trying to hide thereā¦ wait he hid betterā¦ well he just told his buddy he didnāt grab the wallet bc someone threw firecrackers. Truth is, gotta have feaf to have courage and all but fear kills. Like Abe said, seems the only thing to fear is fear itself. Bunch of lunatics. Rather have a can of mushroom soup for stringbeand than Grandma smiling at her 7 grandchildren feeling perfectly comfident that everyone is safe. Ok. Back to work. Havenāt slept in 4 days and probably need to eat something before I get back into another freezing night of wet cold grass and unwelcoming sidewalks to lay on. TTFN
Reminds me of an incident at work once. We had a Computer Services Help Desk, manned wholly by students, who usually responded to us older employees with a kind of āMehā attitude. One day, I brought in a large amount of bubble-wrap and the kids really surprised me with how enthusiastically they tore into itā¦ āŗ

Bubble wrap, cheap stress relief for the person doing the popping, not so much for everyone else within hearing range !
Acworthless about 4 years ago
Unfortunately, they now make bubble wrap where the bubbles are interconnected by little channels so it canāt be popped easily (if at all). Bummer!

I save bubblewrap for when I need to ship something. The āpoppedā version is useless.

My wife loves to pop it, but Iāve never seen the appeal. I think itās a mental illness ā popophilia.
