As I aged, things that tasted good became more important than things that were good for me.

“Hike your own hike” is an actual saying for those of us who hike the 2000+ mile Appalachian Trail in eastern U.S.

I just pick out what I like. Candied pineapple and bananas. Why would I take something that I didn’t like?

My personal trail mix has pretzels, potato chips and a few peanut M&Ms.

Looks like Earl did his own trail mix. For me I have to pass.

The best part about those mixes is that you can use up all the bits and pieces in the pantry and look like you did something special.
