All remotes feel alike when they are in a couch. I keep theatening to par each romote a day-lo different color to be able to find and distrinquish whicch is which.

The dog really seems to be laughing in the last frame…

And the oven door keeps opening and shutting.

Ok, I’ll ask. Why is the garage remote even in the house?

The only remotes I use are for the cars and garage. The TV is just a computer monitor my wife uses to watch movies.

My garage door started opening and I thought some neighbor was causing it, but it just started doing it on its own. I’m in the garage with the door guy explaining and then we watch the door close, LOL! Very demonstrative of the door to do that.

Either this a a rerun, or it’s very similar to one done before. I seem to remember Earl getting his hand stuck inside the couch looking for the remote in a previous strip.

Earl and Opal should follow Martha Stewart’s ideas and color code/label the remotes and small items they might have. Of course, in a comic this, likely, won’t happen because of the plug for Stewart’s ideas.

I tie one of those colored straps they use when they take your blood to everything that is food for the couch (remotes, mouse). When they slip into the couch their colorful tail is generally visible.

My tv remotes use infrared light beams and my garage door opener uses radio waves. So, Earl’s tv remote would not work even if he did have his hand on the tv remote because the beam is covered. Geek out.

I wonder what else is down there.

(Not that I don’t enjoy them…to the tune of $120 per month I just noticed. I guess I need to watch MORE to get my money’s worth.)
