Was Sarah Palin squinting reeeeaal hard when she could “see Russia from my house”?

I can’t even put eyedrops in my eyes!

Tried contacts on advice of my eye surgeon. Lost 2 and tore 2. Forget it.

I believe the islands are in the ocean, not floating ON the oceans.

As a child, I was legally blind and wore “coke-bottle” glasses. Got contacts as a teen which worked great….until they didn’t. With middle age came very dry eyes and couldn’t leave contacts in all day. Hello Lasik. Since I was legally blind, they told me it was like hitting a bullseye from miles away. it DID help, but I still needed glasses. At least not coke-bottle thickness. I could actually go swimming in the ocean without getting lost. (Yes, that really happened). So here I am at 67 and back to glasses, but I don’t care.They are not thick. Progressives, transitions and several pairs for style. I’m enjoying them. And, I can see well enough without them if necessary or if they begin to hurt my nose. If that’s the worse thing I’m dealing with, I cannot complain.

Opal has a point there. And it’s a better point than she typically has!

Squint harder, maybe Earl will become Carey Grant, or Rock Hudson!

Opal squinting like that won’t give her an idea of what she can see. She needs to look in a mirror to see what SHE will look like without glasses.

I’ve been to Hawaii and I’ve been to some of the islands in the Caribbean (St. Thomas, Gitmo, P.R.), too. Nothing worth getting dreamy eyed about.

I would like to believe Opal is simply using here imagination – and squinting helps her “see” something nice.

I tried contacts and only lasted about a year with them. I have dry, itchy eyes so I was constantly having to put contact lense eye drops in our the contacts would stick to my eye and I had a few break because of this and they just didn’t work too well when I had one of my migraines so I decided I had to go back to glasses, The one think I loved about contacts was being able to wear sunglasses but now that I am back to glassses I just get the transition ones. Ijust had my eye exam last week and have to get new ones so when Iget my SSDI check at beginning of next month I will stop at eye doctors and pay for them so they can order them for me.

Why does everything have to be Political in any comments? I mean seriously. It’s sad everyone and everything is SO devided ain’t anyone that can just enjoy a comic. The world is in turmoil and a dumb political quip ain’t gonna change anything for good. The world sucks, our lives suck… can we just acknowledge that and try not to make anyone else’s loves more miserable? I know it’s not a favorable opinion and honestly IDGAF I ain’t in a looooooooong time now. If one dumba** can say something I can. Just sayin. Everyone need to focus their anger on who really deserves it is all… not eachother.
