We had an automatic feeder for a feral cat who made his home near ours. Had to fasten the bowl down to keep the raccoons from hauling it off. Before I did, I ended up looking for it all over the yard on several occasions.
Earl and especially Opal looks dressed for dinner and a show. Opal actually set aside her comfy bunny slippers for dress shoes to go with skirt. They seem to be enjoying the Roscoe show. Hopefully, for an encore Roscoe doesn’t start ‘cleaning’ himself!

Put the dish atop a Roomba.

Whenever I give my cat wet food as a treat, long after she finishes it, she licks the empty bowl, dragging it across the floor.
It’s really unnerving, especially because she already has food on her regular food bowl.
People would think I don’t feed that chubster!

I’d like to do the same thing with my cat’s water dish.

My dog, who passed a couple years ago, used to turn over his dish and then eat the food off the ground. Fortunately, his offspring doesn’t.

I have two bowls with rubber on the bottom of them on a felt like mat. Those bowls don’t move at all while she eats.

My dog this exact same thing!

Dogs like to take their food dishes for a walk.

No need to bolt the bowl down. Roscoe likes it to go.

I had a dog who would pick the whole dish up and set it on the carpet so it wouldn’t slide.

Earl, Earl, Earl, put the dish in a corner at dinner time, no where for it to go then.

Lol.
LOVE THE BOLD COLORS.

Just put it in a corner

… but my little toes voted against it. It is odd the thing slides on carpet, and all the way from the kitchen.

Who feeds their dog on the living room rug anyway?
Enoi 8 days ago
That’s an idea… if I had to chase my food bowl around, I might get some of this weight off.

Get a heavier dog dish . . . DUH!

Screw, not bolt, unless you plan on going into the crawl space to spin the nuts on.

The dog must have been trying to drop a hint about getting the dish nailed down.

Why is he fed in the living room instead of the kitchen? Pearl looks like she is dress up to go somewhere dressy.

this way he gets his exercise in at the same time!

Or put it in the kitchen.
