I have never combed my hair straight back. It’s always ‘officially’ been from the right side over to the left. True, I did comb it in reverse before going to the barber shop when I was a teenager, then combed it back after I got home. It was a sneaky way to keep my hair longer even with a haircut.
Sometimes people ask when I’m going to cut my ponytail. I tell them, “I’m saving it for a good combover, once I need it. Or maybe I’ll just wrap it around and around and around…”
My husband had a comb-over when I first met him. There were only about 12 hairs involved. He valued my opinion as a friend, and cut them off after I told him how silly he looked.
My husband’s hair was getting thinner and thinner and he was not changing the way he combed it (from side to side) after a hair cut. I tried to tell him that he really didn’t need to try and keep his hair as he always wore a hat and I liked bald heads, but he would not do it. Not a problem any more.
I was having my barber cut my hair close on the sides and 8 on top. After a couple of months without a haircut, I finally cut it myself, close all over. I tried to get my wife to clean it up, but she was afraid she would do something wrong, so I had to do it all myself. It doesn’t look bad, but I always wear a hat when I go out.

I’ve never had a comb over. I save money by shaving my head three or four times a year and letting it grow out.

Cut it all off short. No comb over. No messing around with shaving.

I never use a comb. I just use my bear hands.

Trump style! My husband was missing some of his hair and always thought the barber should give him a discount. Me too when I go to the dentist!

He’s covered in fur so he doesn’t need a combover.
