If you “need” to do that because you bought bandages which don’t stick very and you’re too not-wanting-to-be-wasteful to just throw them out and get some that stick better, you’re a Plugger.
My problem is that my fingers are too slim to put a bandaid around them. The bandaid is only stuck to the bandaid not to the finger except for one tiny area so it just slides off like a ring.

When on blood thinner medicine, a Plugger might need the extra absorbency.

I’ve found that a strip of Silicone Scar Tape over a Band-Aid® holds it in place nicely.

In that case, the Plugger needs to buy Band-Aid brand because, “I am stuck on ban-Aids and Band-Aids are stuck on me!”
For the cheap band-aids I buy, I just use a wrap of medical tape or Coban.
