“sliver”? I presume that was supposed to be “silver” …

I still wear black leather shoes, but with good arch support. Danskos are good for professionals, like nurses, who stay on their feet a lot.

Sneakers have no doubt become more popular since the start of the pandemic.

Both me and wife have our bronzed baby shoes. My sneakers are white (mostly) but wife’s are different each day. I have one pair and she, I think, has an unlimited supply of different sneakers. At least it seems that way.

I assume this is a reference to so-called “Silver Sneakers” programs that many Medicare supplementary insurance policies offer as an enticement?

I have a pair of baby shoes that are bronzed and made into bookends. For many years I thought they had been my shoes. My mother eventually told me they were my bother’s, who died as an infant two years before I was born. Strange feeling …

I think I had bronzed socks. Parents were too poor to get shoes plus I was just going to grow out of them.

I didn’t think companies made sneakers any more. Just running, jogging and walking shoes, hiking and gogo boots, etc.

Off topic- I don’t see why we insist on wearing ultra white shoes… in the dirt.

I wear black boys skateboard sneakers unless I have to get dressed up or we are going out and it is raining. If going out in rain I wear boys’ tie on shoes. If getting dressed up I wear boys black slip on shoes.

I had been wearing girls’ fuzzy slippers but when I went looking for new ones, I could not find any – so wearing boys fuzzy slippers in a camouflage pattern and girls “cotton candy colored” slip on slippers (former when around the house, latter for when need to put on slippers quickly and go to the bathroom while sleeping).

One of the best thing about having a husband who sold shoes in a department store while going to college is that he told that children’s shoes overlap the smaller sized the ladies sized shoes. I wear a 5.5 ladies and a 4 boys or girls shoes. Much easier to find shoes in the children’s depts and less expensive also. I even have a nice pair of children’s winter boots to wear in snow.
