Grip Sox are the best socks. – That’s what they’re know here in Australia, don’t know what they’re called in other countries.

Most Pluggers are too old to do the ‘Risky Business’ floor-slide, anyway.

No free grippy socks for me. I haven’t been in a hospital (for myself) since I got my tonsils out in 1957.

I’ve only had one hospital stay so far, but I like them so much I bought several pairs to use for my dance exercises.

Hospitals used to let you go barefoot but cracks in dry skin can allow some nasty cross-infections. So now we have the disposable socks. By the way, throw them out.

My husband got lots of them but I couldn’t let him wear them. His feet were so bad from diabetes that they would create sores on his feet that would get infected. It was quite a battle we had with the hospital to keep them off.
