Real Pluggers work dirty, filthy jobs and must shower every day. I did as soon as I got home, my filthy uniforms went in a bag in the garage. Didn’t want the house smelling like diesel fuel.
Husband checks the oil in our Equinox weekly – why? Well the Equinox engine we have burns off oil and we lose about 6 oz of oil a week or more. They will not do a recall and fix this known problem. Tried to buy a new replacement car and we had several nightmares of attempts to do so, one of which resulted in a lowering of credit score!
So we keep going with it. And our mechanic has told us that there are parts which are no longer available for 1990s van, so it is a question of which will die first and what we will do – ride around in our Class B RV all the time?

So when a plugger says. “Lookin’ pretty SLICK there!”… it’s not a compliment…

Back when I rode bus public transportation, occasionally I sat next to windows with hair-oil splotches. But it wasn’t strictly from Pluggers.

True – after three days without shampooing hair, you can scrape the oil off and use it for axle grease. Yuck!
