I thought Nintendo was originally a Japanese company that involved playing cards.

Nintendo was founded in 1889. The Ottoman Empire ended in 1922, there are companies older than Nintendo.

Here is a link if anyone cares:

Nintendo was founded in 1889, and sold games from the very beginning. They stated out with playing cards, and it took nearly 100 years for them to make their first ever electronic game in 1971.

A koala walks into a restaurant. He says, “I’ll have the minestrone.”

The waitress brings it, the koala eats it quickly, then orders a bowl of chili.

The waitress brings it, the koala eats it quickly, then orders a bowl of lobster bisque.

The waitress brings it, the koala eats it quickly, then orders a bowl of gazpacho.

After a while the waitress says, “Wow, you must be hungry.”

The koala answers, “No, I’m just a moresoupial.”

    Until next time.

I’m sure the Ottomans played a lot more backgammon than Nintendo back then (World War I and before).

Luigi invites Mario over to play some Nintendo Switch. As they get ready to fire up some Smash Bros., Mario notices Luigi has a new avatar.

Mario asks, “Say, Luigi, what kind picture is that?”

    Luigi says… “It’s a Mii, Mario.”

Well, house fires, wild fires, they’re both fires, right?

A photographer from a well known international magazine was assigned to cover the fires at Yellowstone National Park.

When the photographer arrived, he realize that the smoke was so thick, it would seriously impede or make it impossible for him to photograph anything at ground level, so he requested and received permission to hire a plane and take photos from the air.

Arriving at the airport, he saw a plane warming up near the gate. He jumped in with his bag and shouted, “Let’s go.”

The pilot swung the plane onto the runway and within minutes they were in the air.

The photographer said, “Fly over the park and make two or three low passes so that I can take some photographs.”

    “Why?”, the pilot asked.

“Because I am a photographer, and photographers take photographs”, he said.

The pilot was silent for a moment, and finally said, “You mean, you’re not the flight instructor?”

    Until next time.

You can further increase you chances of surviving a house fire by soaking blankets, rugs, and all clothing prior to going to bed. ~ Smokey the Bare Uncle

Take care, may famed ottoman designer Abdula-Sam “Put Feet High For Comfort And Low For Walk Around While Whistle Wooly Bully” Shamporkmanord be with you, and gesundheit.

Closing your bedroom door will keep the smoke detector from going off early enough to get out safely…

Put the smoke detector outside the bedroom door and be sure it is loud.

Closing my bedroom door before going to sleep greatly increases my chances of not sleeping because of cats complaining about the door. Given the choice between a “low likelihood of happening” and a “definitely gonna happen” I’ll take the one that lets me snuggle the kitties.

What is with all these people on this site telling lame jokes that mainly have nothing to do at all with the Ripley’s Believe it or Not featured “comic” of the day?! Can’t you find a better forum for that? Like maybe www.LameJokes.com or something?
