I bet Jason once had a three-sided flag. (You’re a wonder, Sjöderick Fredberg, having a four-volume autobiographic work about flies.)

Does anyone else recognize the reference to Lord of the Flies, which many of us old timers read in high school?

Woah, I had no idea about that ostrich fact. Apparently less than 15% of ostrich chicks which hatch survive to adulthood, so I guess the numbers help.

I think all flags have two sides. It is just that Paraguay has a the national coat of arms on one side and the seal of the treasury on the other.

Each side of the United States flag has the reverse design (mirror image) of the opposite side.

I believe that guy wrote his trilogy, what’s so unbelievable about that? I even believe it made the New York times best seller list.

Now, if you tell me it sold more than 5 copies, I may doubt that claim.

    Called the vets this morning

Me: “Hello, I need to make an appointment for my pet Ostrich.”

    Vet: “Ok what’s the problem?”

Me: “He’s holding his head to one side.”

    Vet: “Hmm, maybe neck’s weak?”

Me: “Haven’t you got anything sooner?”

“The Flytrap Chronicles” by Fredrick Sjöberg, SNOOOOOOOORE. The title alone is enough to put me to sleep.

I’m aghast. Calling broads “chicks” is a male chauvinist habit that must be eradicated in our society. I have nothing but the highest respect for my sister bimbos and I am at the forefront of ridding our society of demeaning terms for beeyatches world wide, and the sooner the better…. Oh, you’re talking about bird chicks. Never mind. ~ Emily Litella, getting into the cooking wine this time

Take care, may relentless kitchen fly Mzzt “Bzzzz Zzzzz Fzzzzt” be with you, and gesundheit.

Oregon’s state flag is different on each side too. The “back” has a beaver.

Nonsense: all flags have a two sides. What you meant to say was “a different design on each side”

A polygamist lion walks into a bar with 3 of his wives: a giraffe, an ostrich and a llama. He walks up to the bar and asks the rhino bartender to recommend a beer.

Rhino: “Sure, we have lots of great choices on tap.”

    Lion: “C’mon man… Can’t you see I prefer longnecks?”

How many flies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Two, but how did they get in there?

A visitor from Holland was chatting with his American friend and was jokingly explaining about the red, white and blue in the Netherlands flag.

“Our flag symbolizes our taxes," he said. “We get red when we talk about them, white when we get our tax bill, and blue after we pay them.”

“That’s the same with us,” the American said, “only we see stars, too.”

    Enough for now.

One for today:- A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.Their domestic tranquillity had long been the talk of the town. A local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their long and happy marriage.“Well, it dates back to our honeymoon,” explained the lady. "We visited the Grand Canyon and took a trip down to the bottom of the canyon by pack mule. We hadn’t gone too far when my husband’s mule stumbled.“My husband quietly said ’That’s once.’ We proceeded a little farther when the mule stumbled again. Once more my husband quietly said, ’That’s twice.’ We hadn’t gone a half-mile when the mule stumbled a third time. My husband promptly removed a revolver from his pocket and shot him.I started to protest over his treatment of the mule when he looked at me and quietly said ’That’s once.’”….Birdman Out.
