Did you know that naked mole rats live longer than any other rodent species by a huge margin, usually several decades. There’s a lot more to them, including other exceptional health features, but that’s for another comment.

Colored Crisco is scooped as ice cream or used as a Wendy’s frosty in their commercials because real ice cream or frosties would melt under the studio lights
Ground hamburger is shaped into a patty, barely cooked, colored to look completely cooked, then have fake grill marks seared into them to make it look like a thick, grilled, juicy hamburger patty.
Raw chicken and turkeys are seared in some places, then artificially colored to look like completely cooked birds because they look better that way on camera.
Three people, a tethered weather balloon with a pumpkin suspended below, and four long ropes. Once the pumpkin is directly above the spire, according to each of the three people controlling the balloon, pull down on the ropes to force the pumpkin to impale itself. Use the fourth rope to release the pumpkin from the balloon and retrieve the balloon via the three control ropes.
If something a family member told me decades ago is (still) true, it would not be maple syrup that is being advertised. He said you never see people actually drinking in liquor commercials on TV because of two laws: 1) If people are shown drinking on TV, it had to be a non-alcoholic substitute. 2) An ad on TV had to show the actual product. Substitutions not allowed.
Back in the “black & white movie days” they used chocolate syrup for blood in the western movies and corn flakes for snow. I learned that during a tour of Universal Studios as a pre-teen. The syrup flowed the best and horses used to eat the corn flakes.

Isn’t possible the prankster(s) got a cherry-picker truck or a fire engine and skewered said pumpkin onto the Cornell U steeple?

They also use Elmers glue in cereal still shots because under the lights milk gives off a greyish appearance.

Motor oil on pancakes? I think not. Kudos to the mouse. Aliens put the pumpkin there; nobody got the message.
