One time during dinner we watched one of the neighborhood cats chasing a squirrel. At one point the squirrel lost its footing. The cat stopped & let the squirrel get its bearings back, then it was back to the chase. A few minutes later we saw them again…and the squirrel was chasing the cat. (We knew it was the same squirrel as it had a distinctive white marking on its rump.)

Now that she’s got one, what’s she gonna do with it?

Mine has yet to catch one; chase a lot, yes.

It’s all about the chase! This one made me laugh out loud.

We had a cat that liked to chase squirrels, until she caught one. It bit a hole in her leg, and after that she stuck to just chasing her tail instead.
