Aw,… I miss my parents coming to visit my classes during Read Across America week. My dad would read, & my mom would enjoy watching the kids’ reactions.
I bake them for my hubby to have in the sack lunch he now packs every day. He figures if he has to stay at his desk every day instead of meeting friends for lunch, he should have a treat. However, I can only put a limited number of oatmeal raisin cookies in the jar or he’d clean it out and have none for the sack.
I am a multiple blue ribbon baker of specialty angel food cakes though. Since stay at home only have baked cake from mixes to save on supplies – lots of frozen eggs in the freezer for same and other cooking. (Husband bought 5 dozen eggs in mid May and we don’t eat breakfast or eggs, so had to freeze most of them to use in cooking as we going along.

So…. Is it impolite to not share when happens even on a remote parent-teacher night?

No milk?!? I think it is against the law to eat oatmeal raisin cookies without a glass of milk to dunk them in.

I foresee a Cookie Coordination schedule in their future so that everyone can have cookies together. Or at least at the same time.
