The only big word Sherman knows is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Sherman: “Hey! I resemble that remark!”

Yeah. Dumb it down. WAAAAAYYY down.

“Better make them small words, son. ‘Tiny’ has too many syllables.”

But Sherman was head of his class. Of course, he ate all of his classmates to get there….

This arc is repeating one joke over and over.

Come on, Megan, Sherman may not be as dumb as you think he is.

The tinier the better.

Careful, Herman… it’s a setup. First they identify you as “smarter than the average shark.” Then they put you in “advanced” classes. Then they decide to skip you ahead a grade. Then you graduate a year earlier and realize you have to work an extra year before you retire. DAHIK…

Beware nasty, snarky sharks of all sorts ! ;-)

Didn’t Fillmore say Shall I dumb it down for you to Sherman a few weeks back? Poor Sherman, oh well reality smarts (pun intended) sometimes.

The teacher would not have told him until after talking to the parents, and then only if they agreed.

Too many kids in gifted programs don’t take advantage of the opportunity because they don’t want to leave their friends behind in the, um, “normal” classes.
