Hate Brussels sprouts, but made a slaw using them once, didn’t taste the sprouts and it actually was good. problem with sprouts is that most people cook them until they turn grey. Yuk.
Roast them. People overcook/over boil them and that makes ‘em bitter. Roast’ em and they get sweet. Balsamic vinegar is good on them when they’re done or garlic & olive oil. Try them that way. No, really. Try them! Don’t make me come over there.
Lightly steam them-no olive green color, that means they are waaay over-done. Toss with a combo of melted butter, lemon juice and a pinch of salt, if you can do salt; they taste just fine with just the lemon juice and butter mix.
Roasted, lightly steamed, stir-fried, or raw is some of my favorite ways to eat coles de Bruselas. I don’t like any type of cabbage boiled unless it is being used in a sopa or caldo.
I’ve always liked Brussels sprouts, especially if steamed until tender-crisp, with just a little salt. No sauces or other additions. (And despite what my Mom always said, cooked cabbage isn’t, and never has been, “the same thing”. I’ve always found it nasty. I’m sure she thought I did those things just to annoy her.)

Cut them in half and drizzle with olive oil and throw them under the broiler

Substitute green beans in for the sprouts.

I like Brussels sprouts… even as a kid. The secret is to not overcook them. Then they taste and smell like sulfur.

The Perfesser obviously doesn’t have an oversight committee. Personally I can’t stand brussel sprouts but I wouldn’t eat the rest of that either.

That might be the one way I would be able to stomach them.

Brussels Sprouts are one of those food items that I use to hate but now find quite tasty when prepared properly. Liver is another.
