This is so true my bother in law hated cats and our cats always went to him, he later learned to like cats, lol.

OK, I don’t quite know what happened there.

I posted todays pictures, they were showing on the page, I checked. Now there no longer here, and they don’t appear in my profile either. Because they had posted I went ahead and prepared the template for next Fridays selection, so I’ve lost the ones I posted this morning.

I’ll dig some more out and post again.

By going to the person who doesn’t like cats and showing them how great cats are, you might just change them into cat lovers. Or at least teach them not to hate cats.

Our poor cats. They will never know this since we BOTH love cats.

I need that card for my father-in-law. Smudge and the Marshmallow mouse are irresistably attracted to his bald head!

I need some advice. In the past when we introduced kittens to our adults cats it’s the adults who are unsure and can be pacified with treats, but now it’s Cocoa who is terrified of Truffle. She gets puffy and won’t accept consolation, and only calms when we take her away. It’s been getting marginally better, but is there anything that could help Cocoa realize Truffle isn’t a threat?

I’m lucky to not know anyone who doesn’t like cats. We’ve had over 2 inches of rain overnight and are expecting it to continue until tomorrow evening. An area just a few miles north of me has an evacuation warning due to overflowing creeks from snowmelt from the rain and our only highway along the eastern Sierra is expected to shut down soon. I am SAFE here and feel guilty that my only problem is getting Fred out for a walk while others are evacuating – if they can even get out – and having much structural damage from the higher elevation rain adding to the weight of the snow.

I don’t have any friends or relatives who don’t like cats. One time I was starting to become friends with a woman until she went on and on about how cats are lazy, claw things, shed, etc. I dropped her like a hot potato. As for relatives, the only one we see is my sister and she likes them. Got her first one when she moved out at 19.

Ohyeah, my kitteh goes and sheds all over the one person who is truly allergic!

My dad was phobic about cats. Cats loved him.

I figure cats do this either because they want to win that person over, or they’re trying to intimidate them into leaving. (Which is kind of understandable. Would you feel comfortable around someone who didn’t like you?) My Dad had a friend who hated cats, and he was a real jerk. (The friend, not my Dad.) Thankfully, I haven’t seen him in a long time. On another note, saw eight juncos while out walking today.

Not only that, they have radar to seek out who is allergic to them.
