The riddle the sphinx presented/ caused her presence to be resented/ but an Oedipus complex/ (a “humping your Mom-plex”!)/ would leave any sane man demented..

One hopes that he passes her test/ for we know that he’s deeply distressed/ and we all have our woes/ but not woes like those/ that he needs to get off of his chest..
