Instead of a personal day, you should have asked for a “Me Day”, Brutus.

Work would be less work. He should call in well to work.

And the show topper: Mother Gargle is coming over later on for dinner.

Women just don’t understand what a personal day means.

It’s all good, Brutus will be able to rest up when he returns to work on Thursday.

Here’s a what if situation. What if Brutus’s boss didn’t give Brutus a Wednesday personal day off?

Gladys would still have to play with the Bridge Group! So who would take Wilberforce to the dental appointment or would Wilberforce have to cancel the appointment and wait for another day, maybe Thursday or Friday?

The first rule of taking a day off is “Don’t tell anyone you’re taking a day off.”

yeah, it’s personal to get things done… even if it is for someone else un other then yourself. :J

I have no idea what a personal day is. If I needed a day off for something that is what my vacation days were for. I couldn’t tell the Judge in a trial that I needed a personal day off to catch up; I couldn’t tell the Police Chief I needed a personal day, as he would just laugh; I couldn’t tell my Company Commander that I needed a personal day off and if I did, I would probably still be doing pushups; AND today, while my students might welcome me taking a personal day so that they could get a day off, I don’t have enough time as it is to do all the stuff that needs to get done during the semester. Personal day off, cry me a river Brutus. You will get no sympathy from me on this one……

There never is, Brutus. Believe it or not, working women have the same problem.

The one occasion Rancid throws Brutus a bone and Gladys grabs it from him and buries it. The coffee puff in the last frame says it all – that day went up in smoke!

We called Bath fitters to come and re-caulk (for the second time) the seamless shower they installed. To be fair, we’ve had the shower for 4 years and they do it free of charge. With my heart, bending over to caulk a shower would send me to the emergency room.

Home projects tend to pile up if left undone Brutus. My bath tub needs caulking too but I have thought of going with a walk in shower, then I want a new vanity, new floors all over the house, fresh paint and new lighting in the kitchen. Hello Mortgage Lender? I need a home equity loan lol
