Sometimes it can be really helpful (revealing) for teachers and administrators to see and be with the parents do they can better understand (and have sympathy for and empathize with) the children they have as students.
The last time I did that was at high school graduation. We were seated in alphabetical order and my friend whose name began with A was in front of us. I hit him in his neck with good wet ones.
