Of course Sterling was playing—he just wasn’t playing Monopoly!

That is the usual way a game of Monopoly ends, from my experience.

It’s been a while (I prefer Splendor or Catan) but two hotels on a property?

This made me laugh really hard!! I love this comic (I’ve said that more than once!). Looking at that 2nd panel again made me laugh more! Sterling! What more can I say!

Flipping the board (or table) will get you permanently banned from any play group. Sterling, You. Are. Banned.

Love this strip. I don’t know if anyone here is old enough to remember Walt Kelly’s Pogo. Today’s strip reminded me of a Pogo strip with Pogo (Possum) and Albert (Alligator) playing checkers. Albert was losing (as usual) and suddenly threw the board and checkers in the air, shouting “Earthquake!” Still makes me laugh.

Well, that’s one effective way to decisively end a game of Monopoly…

Oh; he was playing, alright. He represented that segment of society that likes to tear down what others have built and call it a “protest.”

Is it too late to return Sterling?

I play risk one time where one of the guys was about to be wiped off the board and squirt light fuild on the board and lit it with his lighter and declare nuclear war. It was outside but two of us went in different directions for water hoses.

Don’t walk barefoot in that room for a while.

What’s Monopoly without a Godzilla/Sterling pillaging

At some point in the future, family events will involve young adult Wallace getting together for dinner with his middle-aged parents, followed by the three of them visiting Sterling in the state penitentiary.
