I know everyone knows this, but I think it’s worth clarification. There is no “dark side” of the moon if that expression is understood to mean a side always in darkness. There is a near side and a far side, but in the moon’s courses around the earth they receive equal amounts of sunlight and are in darkness equally. That’s why there are “phases” that from our vantage appear as different shapes… crescent, full moon, half-moon, and such.
The expression “dark side of the moon” is useful as a figure of speech for “the mysterious” or unseen, but even Stanley Kubrick once made the mistake of thinking that it literally referred to a side always in darkness. [And this was after he had made his masterpiece “2001 : A Space Odyssey.”]
So, Wallace is excused for this misleading use of the expression.
Better to think in terms of day and night sides or near and far sides.
The farside alien stories were popular when I was a kid. There’s even a jazz tune that loosely follows the idea: “Can You Hear Me?” by Paul Hardcastle / JazzMasters. I think it is on Youtube. I was never quite as enthusiastic as Wallace about that stuff, but that’s the kind of friend I wish I’d had at that age. If he can channel that imagination and put some hard work into it, he will have more real-life adventures when he grows up…

Wallace is full of inspiration. Which is one thing Amelia’s never really needed. What she lacks is “opportunity.”

Is Amelia’s last name Wurlitzer by any chance? She looks like the best player on the team.

Yes, Amelia. You can get back to hitting a baseball. Just don’t hit aliens in the balls with your baseball as that could lead to an invasion.

“There is no dark side of the moon really. Matter of fact it’s all dark.”

The far side of the moon, which never faces the earth, would be an excellent staging area for aliens planning an earth invasion.
Have a nice day.

I hope everyone knows there is no dark side of the moon. There is a far side, but it receives just as much light as the near side.

If you fall short, you’ll probably fall back to earth and end up making a very tall hole.

The Chinese spacecraft must have sent back pictures of the aliens, Wallace. It was just on the dark side of the moon and left some graffiti!
