I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this! That said, water can sustain and kill us in several different ways, and the “n” in “train” is a bent “l” that represents the outline of the lower half of a locomotive or a piece of rolling stock…the latter is up for interpretation.
Psalm 103:11,12 “For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy towards those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. “
This reminds me of when I discovered that east was a universal compass direction and not just the direction that the paper company was in from my house. Believe me, it was a stunning epiphany.
I’ve spent too much time on the East Pole to agree with this. Perhaps another glass of breakfast wine will sway me. (Just as soon as the monitor comes back in to focus.)
Mom needs to buy a World Globe. But, the countries on it might not be currently correct. In 2012 I bought a World Globe my neighbors sold at their yard sale. The names of some of the countries where outdated.

Never check your phone! Never! It doesn’t have the answers you are looking for.

You might be always going east, but you’ll end up in the west.

Reminds me of Calvin learning about how records spin…

It’s because you reach the North Pole and walk past it so you are now going south. There are no East or West poles.
“East is East and West is West,
And ne’r the twain shall meet,
Until they stand together,
Before God’s Judgement Seat."

“Why do people always build houses outdoors?” One of Walt Kelley’s children asked that and he put it in Pogo.

If you travel far enough east, you’ll cross the barrier of time. That doesn’t happen when you travel north and south!

And if you’re at the North Pole, every direction is South.

[bro] this has such Calvin and Hobbes vibes. Wallace just having a random thought and then waking up his mom just to tell her this thought. haha!

You know they had to tear down the soccer stadium in Warsaw, right? Everyone was sitting behind a Pole.

Too deep for me. I’m just wondering what that pattern (or whatever) is on mom’s nightshirt…seems oddly positioned…
