Ah, time for a ride through the past. Of course, the early years of this comic I don’t remember… probably because I was only a bit more than a year old when it started. This will be fun!
Titan books started a complete Wizard of Id some years ago. They published 1971, 1972 and 1973 in hardcover at a very affordable price. 1974 would have been due this year but the series seems to have been cancelled, what a pity !
I was 10 and saw Kennedy’s body taken off the plane at Bethesda Naval Hospital. We watched from my aunt’s car, close enough I get see Jackie in her pink suit and pillbox hat. My aunt worked there at the time. That’s how we got the property.
I too was 7 (well, 6 1/4) on that fateful November Friday but have been fascinated by it forever. I did get to do an assassination tour several years ago — including standing on that infamous “X” painted on Elm Street. My main memory of that weekend — my favorite cartoons weren’t on TV
ah, this artwork is much better than whomever the grandkids hired to do the current strips and we won’t even talk about the dialogue. the Hart / Parker comics are circling the drain these days
Hey, no one’s been here in almost ten years! I wrote my own webpage that lists the links to all of today’s comics that I follow. When this strip stopped in late 2023, I updated the site to subtract 9 years from today’s date and display that older comic. Never saw these old ones before, so it’s like the strip never stopped—and I still have YEARS of “new” Id comics to go!

It’s no “TEN CATS”, but it’s still fun!

Great idea to bring these classics back. I would also love to see Hart’s B.C. classics again!

The classics only go back ten years?
