Looks like Meaning of Lila is spilling over into Id.

My favorite is when I have an actual real-world, non-digital conversation about something I’ve never brought up in any aspect of my life and suddenly I’m getting ads for it on my phone. My phone’s not listening to me of course. Surely it’s a coincidence. Right.

Recently, I was trying to take a picture of sunrise over the river. Gulls were vocalizing and doing their morning acrobatics.Suddenly, a large white box covered 2/3 of the screen (never happened in the 18 months I’ve had this phone) and a message appeared in large red letters: “They’re saying, ‘Take me to the trash!’”

Look up a product on line and the next thing you know it’s an ad on any site you go on….disgusting….spy tactics…I resent it, but those RED SHOES, I like…they’re called CFMS….I’ll let you figure that out….LOL

It’s so nice what a good ad blocker can do.

Is it just me, or does that balloon say “7.5% off”?

The harder someone tries to sell you something the less you need it.

A good mixture of different ages for “modern advertising”. The airship is something that wouldn’t occur until the nineteenth century but the arrow fits the period that most of the “period detail” in this strip conforms to.
