Have you seen the TV remotes that you can get in the shape of a wand. You give it a twirl in certain patterns to get it to do things. Harry Potter wands.

Well, if I remember right, one of the Weasley twins knew of a wizard who lost a buttock from keeping a wand in his back pocket!
