When you are older, there is some exact moment when you no longer get to make all of the decisions about your life. I’m wondering if the length of time from birth to the first moment is exactly the same as the length of time from the second moment to death.

I can commiserate with Gus. Several quotes tie living together with laughing. My favorite ends with “Laugh often”

There’s living, and there’s waiting to die.

Death is inevitable, let him live his life the way he wants. If it means an earlier grave, so be it, at least he would have gone on his terms.
