“My very own copy of the things you need to do today? How thoughtful. I’ll just sit here with this coffee and help you by ticking them off as you do them Would you like one as well?"
My wife is a retired library director and makes a list every day, really bugs her when I ask her what’s next when we are doing our “rat killing” during the day. I told her to make two copies because I can’t remember everything she reels off during the day, but I did teach her to start at the farther point and work our way home.
i’m good with the honey do list. My memory sucks and I really do want to get it all done so i can sit on the deck in peace or under the RV awning in some far away campground.
Nope. I had to diagnose a broken wrist, put a splint on it and send mother and patient to hospital. With a dose of pain reliever. All before my morning tea and toast and clementine. I don’t care how expert you are at skateboard tricks, the ground is always harder than your wrist. Good thing the kid landed on his non dominant hand.

If I ever gave a man “a list” it would be given back to me in pieces. I’ve learned if you want something done, do it yourself.

My mother use to say, “Wouldn’t it be nice if someone could…” The translation “Do this…Now!”

At least it’s a small piece of paper. Maybe it just says “gutters” or something.

Most of us already have a “to do” list written or unso, given us by our employers.

Yeah no. Don’t get to make lists for me. If it was sincere, she’d be working on it already.

This is where Arlo turns around with a list he carries around in his pocket for such emergencies, hands it to Janis and says “….and this is yours…”

I have a weekly planner and I write my daily chores down in it. Otherwise, nothing gets done because I forget about it.
