You will always find the cat at the warmest spot in the house. Mine like to sleep on top of the floor vents in the winter.

And Janis is where???

Is Janis taking a candle lited tub?

HA! Cats— what can you do?

Just ticked he lost his heat source so he had to find another.

I would suggest that from Ludwig’s point of view, he deigned to grace you with his presence as a token of your barely acceptable performance as his staff.

Nope, just cold.

Yes, my cats also see me as a combination vending machine/giant heating pad.

LOL. Cats like to make us think they care about us.

NO. You just have a warm lap……

and now you are lap-cat-trapped for the next hour or so.

Lonesome? You’re fooling yourself. The floor was cold and your lap isn’t.

no, human, you’re the only warm spot left.

the lower I set the heat, the more affectionate my cats get.

He caught the miffed cat look so well.

Way back in the pre-Cambrian, my Girl, Little Bitte, would sit on the vents of my Commodore-64’s floppy disk drive to “warm her buns”.

Not that he’d admit it.

… or cold.

I’m not sure that was lonely or a matter of warmth, either way it’s always nice.

As long as there’s a nice sunspot the cat prefers that to your lap’s warmth. The sun is less loquaciously.

Sunpuddles are the best. I get annoyed when mine goes missing.
