Christmas doesn’t have to be over. If you’re familiar with the 12 days of Christmas, yesterday was just the first day of Christmas. The Christmas Season goes until January 5th, which is the 12th day of Christmas.
I’ve known people who kep the tree up all year long, redecorating it for whatever occasion was coming up next: Valentine Day, Mardi Gras, Easter, Fourth of July, etc.
I have imagined someone keeping the tree up year round and after taking down the Christmas decor, putting up blue lights and snowflake ornaments for January, red lights and hearts for February, green lights and shamrocks for March, Pastel lights for April, (some would put easter eggs around the bottom), Red, White and Blue lights and an eagle at the top for July, Barbie™ dolls in bikinis under the tree and in the branches for August, webs, spiders, bats and an owl on top for October, turkeys and cornucopias for November then putting the Christmas decor back in December.

Knowing Cliff, they are empty bags. So, not that handy.

Cliff must’ve gotten that idea from David Letterman putting a pizza on top of the tree.

Keeping a dead tree on display for the entire year might be offensive to the tree people.

The liturgical Christmas season goes until Candlemas (Feb. 2nd) I leave my decorations up until then, then replace them with Valentine’s decor.
