That’s a wonderful snow sculpture.

Calvin’s life seems much more interesting than Susie’s.

Those without the Y chromosome have no need to ask “Why”.

I am surprised Calvin made the snow serpent so soon after his battle with the Snow Goons!

Snow snakes have two X chromosomes!!!

This is amazing art, as Watterson creates something I desperately wanted to make in real life, but knew would be impossible, lol. Look at how amazing that snake looks!

Calvin has a couple things you DON’T have, Miss Derkins. An imagination and a sense of fun.

He told her to run, Susie should be happy he was so concerned about her wellbeing.

Relative to chromosomes, this comic strip could be topical today, but if I said anymore, some people would complain.

He sure is eloquent, for someone who can’t pay attention is school.

Calvin’s such a sexist, although the nun who taught me biology in high school wouldn’t mind.

HOW, I repeat HOW does a six-year old(that doesn’t like to go to school)know about X-chromosomes not to mention the ‘Y’ ones ???

Ah! the feared Himalayan Snow Snake. So dangerous because they work in pairs.

Snow Snakes in the Winter and Side Hill Gougers in the Summer, life can be tough sometimes.

Susie is not easily impressed, that is a great snow sculpture after all.

Susie could at least admire Calvin’s snow snake efforts.

Tbh I don’t get how people can be out in the snow for that long, I get sick of it after like 10 minutes lol.

Calvin’s life is way more interesting than Susie’s.

A long, cold setup for a short, cold response. However, there’s no business like Snow Business (at least for Calvin).

Would Calvin be upset if Susie returned with a shovel, and hacked the snake to pieces, in order to “ save Calvin” as he requested?

It must be alive. We’re looking at the left side of the head the whole time, but the head moves from where we see the body behind it, to where we see the body in front of it.

In the first panel the snake’s head is turned right relative to the next segment of its body. In the last panel it’s turned left.

Search for “The Snow Artist” on Facebook (and occasionally other places). He makes snow snakes (and Baby Yoda) in his front lawn. Paints them. Impressive. Worthy of Calvin.
