Imagine that…..

I thought Susie appreciated facts.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Calvin just used it to his advantage.

A little knowledge kills the romance.

Well, figuratively speaking . . . .

Breaking through the 4th wall!

Calvin uses reason and logic to annoy the heck out of people—usually Susie and/or his parents.

Hobbes, however, can see through Calvin’s ruses. He’s a perfect illustration of Calvin’s dual nature.

Calvin should have explained why clouds are white and why rain in storms show as whiter clouds.

Looks like rain to me.

For someone who has the wildest imagination, he sure shuts down when asked to use it.

I remember when my mom and I would take long trips…one way we would relieve the boredom is to look at the clouds and see if any of them looked like anything…

Susie is intelligent enough to know there is more to life than mere facts. She may not realize it but she was experiencing a ‘serendipitous’ moment. Her smile suggests she had made an interesting discovery in that cloud.

The rain is gonna come, oh it surely looks like rain.

I wonder what the reaction would be if someone in an art class were asked to draw a bowl of fruit, and he drew a bowl of tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers.

It would have been more romantic if he said it looked like Susies lovely face

Susie’s Thoughts: “Holy s$&t, he ACTUALLY learned something in class.”

Literalist or non-conforming. Hard to tell with Calvin sometimes.

Calvin isn’t entirely book smart but philosophical. Meaning of life and stuff like that not 4/3πr^3.

For someone that loves fun, Calvin sure knows how to sap it out.

I’ve noticed that. It’s not a matter of imagination It’s more a matter of being correct. Kind of Vulcan-y, if you know what I mean.

Not the answer she was expecting.

I’m not trying to be difficult; I just think that Valentine’s Day hearts should look like real hearts.

Calvin must like being alone. He drives people away.

When you learned a cool fact in elementary and then you flex it:

It always amazes me that tons of water can float in the air.

I think the cloud to which Susie was referring looks like a cotton swab without the stick.

Well, that is a role reversal. I would’ve expected the question to come from Calvin and the answer from Susie

Yes, Calvin, once in a while it is good to show off your ingenuity to this cute lass.

Yet Calvin can’t add 5+7….
