Sometimes I’ve wondered just what inspired Bill Watterson to come up with such outburst from Calvin.

“It’s the show and tell that was never shown NOR told.”

I never understood the point of show and tell.

I can only remember one show and tell in the course of my school days. It was in kindergarten and was shortly after we got back to school after Christmas. Everyone was encouraged (not required I don’t think) to bring in a favorite Christmas gift. I brought in a pair of walkie-talkies. Or maybe I only brought in one.
