It couldn’t have been that cold if he could make snowballs…
… unless it was, and he made those snowballs by warming snow up with his bare hands until it stuck. In that case I am surprised he made so many of them.
Fortunately, when it gets REALLY cold at -40 degrees, Celsius and Fahrenheit are the same. (It’s also part of a mnemonic for working out the formula, if you forget. )
Went for a holiday in southern Nevada ,yrs ago it was 85 above but that was also the wind speed.Back to my Isl in the Pacific, and stopped complaining .
Calvin at dinnertime… (BU-RR-RR-RR-RR-UURP!)Mom: “Good Heavens, what do we say after that?!”Calvin: “I’ll betcha didn’t know I could belch the National Anthem! — BRAVO!! (Clap clap clap…)”(Calvin sulking in his room, to Hobbes): “She oughta be glad that I at least bring some life to an otherwise dull affair!”
Still no Sunday strip, at about 9am Eastern time on Sunday. Here is the strip that was supposed to be posted:Click here: Calvin and Hobbes (January 17, 1993)
Have we lost Calvin & Hobbs? It is no longer listed as a comic that can be subscribed to. Come on! Reruns of Calvin are better than first runs of anything else!
Thanks Hobbes. We get very little snow in central KS. I’ve been busy with on-line class work. One subject I’m not sure of. What away to have a disagreement with ones best friend.
