I noticed that too. This seems to be the type of pole between where lines were separately tensioned during construction, and have to be electrically connected with jumpers, only the line closest to the viewer isn’t connected. Funny the knowledge you pick up over the years that not everyone else knows.

No transformer was harmed in the making of this strip.
