2 days of TJ – let’s all think happy thoughts for Leviticus!

Hey! He’s a good cook! No worries… NOT!

It is to be hoped that this is one engagement that TJ will be able to pull off without disaster!

TJ has that “scathingly brilliant idea” look. NO BRAD NO!

Sure TJ can cook, but, it takes training to cater to large parties and weddings

Toni will insist on a professional and TJ will never forgive her, and work to break her and Brad up (kidding on the last part…but not the first)

“Lots to talk over, tons of decisions….tell the family….” (oops forgot about that part, eh Brad?)

Predicting: Delta, Bernice, maybe Crystal, Knute, and Gunther will all be roped into being TJ’s servers. Thus forcing a dance between Gunther & Luann sense the b/f is still down under.

It will all work out OK unless TJ partners up with Tiff again in another dodgy scheme to defraud someone, like they did with the fire department.

I think TJ will do GREAT with the catering, Quinn will be in the USA and surprise Luann just before the wedding and then we will be following Luann’s engagement and her trip down under

Let’s enjoy the drama as Toni attempts to defuse an angry MIL refrigeration bomb. Good luck sweetie, it’s gonna’ take a long time.

This is why I had thought this to be one of the possible “twists”…..

I hope TJ can deliver a catering as good as his logo looks; rather up-scale and swanky….Meanwhile, yes Brad, you must tell the family before they hear the news second-hand from your friends whom you’ve told first! Hugh gaffe looming….

Good! TJ deserves to be happy! Maybe TJ will hire and reform Ann Eyefull!

Given TJ’s spotty record with Brad’s parents, would they be willing to go along with it?

Also, where is TJ going to live when Brad and Toni come back from the honeymoon?

TJ has proven, in the heat of the moment, what a true friend he really is. All you haters (Faux Real, Blue Boy, Mickeyj, Ottodesu et al) can keep on hatin’ as much as you like.

TJ should be able to live anywhere. Isn’t he rich ?? & As a caterer His employees do the work etc. He just can own it. (Xing fingers) LOL Lets get to the family ‘s reaction . Esp. Luann’s. It is her strip. isn’t it?????

Be interesting to see if more of the backstory on TJ emerges in this story ARC.

Oh yeah, I agree TJ may have been somewhat of an occasional screw-up in the past (although some of his schemes came off brilliantly, like ousting Ann Awful), but wouldn’t you say he’s maybe matured, just like the whole ‘Luann’ strip?

Glad to see that T.J. has grown up. A more likeable character. In fact, Greg is a master at creating believable, real characters. The only problem in my opinion is…. er….three or four frames per day!

I have just one question for Mr. Evans: Where did TJ get the capital investment funds to start his own catering business?!? Especially when just recently when he needed to work for Weenie World to make ends meet?!?!?

TJ has a trust fund set up by his father. He didn’t go to work at Weenie World for the money. He went there to destroy Ann Eiffel.

And if you need a pianist for your wedding, I’m the one to contact! :-)

I think both his parents will be thrilled. It isn’t like this is shocking news. He did propose a year ago. My prediction is one of them will at least be injured while fighting a fire before the wedding.

It turns out that CafeTJ is an idea that TJ has had for awhile. Here are two strips from TJ’s shortlived “Meals for Firefighters” scam from 2007:

While you’re right that he might be asexual, as he has never shown much interest in anyone in particular, none of your examples really holds water. Tiffany is plain unlikable once you get past the body and her willingness to show it off. Luann is his best friend’s sister. A lot of guys have better sense than to break that rule, especially since the DeGroots feel like family to him. He was only on that date because he wanted her to be able to go to her prom. It might have been a bit like kissing his own sister. The “mystery woman” thing just proves that he likes attention, not that he is opposed to special attention from someone special. As Brad’s friend, he might have just been egging him on about Diane to force him to up his game. He may or may not have thought he genuinely had a shot with Toni’s friend, after all, even Delta got excited about him when he was at school. And Ann? Please. That doesn’t even count as an example.

Getting caught is not the same as paying a consequence. He always gets caught, he never gets punished.

I actually like TJ, I just would not trust him as far as I could spit a rat. I have a few friends like this in real life.

TJ is, like I said, the guy you want if you need to sell something. Particularly if you override his sales.

He is not the guy you want the rest of the time.

I’ll criticize her for it. TJ had a borderline harmless scam going. It was not really all that unfair to try to make a little profit from it. Lying about making a profit was his bad move. It was Tiffany who ballooned it up and turned it into a giant scandal. She was a horrible combination of greedy and stupid. Her lack of subtlety embarrassed a lot of people.

Lev isn’t a troll, trolls never make valid points, while he does; sometimes he can be troll-like but, mostly he makes good intelligent posts

if he gets us all worked up for this wedding then he kills Toni in a fire he is going to get some really nasty letters!
