Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The Jumbler is indeed making you and the MCU look foolish, Tracyâwith the help of his de facto accomplice, gossip maven Wendy Wichel! You might as well sit down alongside Sam and enjoy the classic comic booksâŚ.
Good morning everyone. Does anyone else think that since the collapse of the ceiling/wall /floor on Sam didnât hurt him it would have been a wee bit more prudent and/or responsible of him to get off his tuchas (If the use of this word offends anyone please forgive me, not my intent!) and try to help capture Jumbler rather than catch up on his reading? Just asking.
This strip; although at first may appear silly and immature, I keep thinking. This is the calm before a storm. The eye of the hurricane. As a writer, I know there is need at times for a reader to âcatch their breathâ
That Wendy WIchelâŚ.sheâs on top of EVERYTHING isnt she.. .oh yeh, and did i NOT âcall this oneâ a few days ago with wendy making an apearance? i absolutely did! lol!
I still donât get the poking the Comics through a slot bit.they all appear neatly stacked************************And thank YOU, JM, for bringing this back up. When dropping the comics through a slot in the wall was first mentioned it aroused reminiscences from many of us about razor blade slots. While thousands of razor blades could accumulate in the space between walls and studs in a typical house, comic books would fill that area up quickly and they would be all smooshed and wrinkled. The strip shows them stacked and arranged in boxes. Iâve rationalized that perhaps that was done after the wall was torn down but it still doesnât explain the quantity and the good condition theyâre in. I knowâŚ.itâs just a comic stripâŚ..but little inconsistencies like this just tug at the sensibilities of readers who like their detective stories to make sense.
Actually, some of us do miss the clever comments (nobody really appreciated the âsnarkingâ), but SDM wasnât the only one, BY FAR, to do that! His input did keep things lively.

her name should be Wi"t"chel

Wendy was created by Rick Fletcher and Max Collins in the late 70s; which I think was before Carmen S; if Iâm not mistaken

Good morning, all. What I wouldnât give to be where Sam is, reading old comic books all day.

Wendy looks like Cruella Deville! And couldnât Tracy have all the buildingâs exit guarded? Heâs Dick or FOSdick?
coldsooner almost 12 years ago
Wendy âWench-ellâ should just put a sock in it! Forget SBN, sheâs more like TMZ.

Does he have his number? If he does he should call him up to say hi or at least send a text. Be rude not to.

I thought that Wendy was a take off on the famous broadcaster, Walter Wenchell.

Avenger09, whatâs with all the aronymic letters? If you donât know, then Iâll ask my old friend, SDM. (Now where is the switch for the light?)
