My, my, my. The drama is just beginning, Bernice. How embarrassing….

It’s good to be level-headed about these things…. people can sometimes think the worst is always going to happen… a cop pulling you over isn’t ALWAYS because you did something wrong…(1) it could be to let the girls know something is wrong in the area (road/area hazards, maybe possible criminal activity) and to not go a certain route…(2) he could’ve noticed that the girls had something wrong that they were not aware of with the car…(3) they could’ve been searching for someone/something…(4) if it IS for speeding, he may notice Bern’s appearance and if said officer decided to take their situation into account, let them off with a warning or an actual citation (or maybe a reduced fine if there’s one) but still give her an escort as far as possible to make sure she can get there as soon as possible…(5) after any of these things, it could still be the “handsome stranger” type that some have been calling for…

One thing’s for sure… getting grumpy with a cop is NOT going to help your case… and not every officer is the stereotypical “smokey” or “johnny shield” or “officer quota”……

What is funny about this is these two telling each other how smooth the trip would be without LuAnn and all her “drama.” Meanwhile, she’s back home having a leisurely day shopping, Skyping with Quill and getting some sun. And the two “smart cookies” are ending up with egg on their faces because they didn’t plan for anything aside from a Hollywood movie road trip. Lessons will be learned.

A recent study showed that more women use the “I’ve got to go to the bathroom,” excuse than men. Men use the “My GPS is acting up,” excuse more.

she didnt pump any gas.she may have paid cash for gas, or she may have charged a set amount, or she may have had a credit card swiped, or she may have left a credit card. . . .etc . .

Let’s see, ignoring (not any help) Delta, but cataloging Bernice’s failings:

Failing to gas up before leaving on a three hour road trip;

Failing to charge her cell phone before leaving on a three hour road trip;

Spacing out and leaving key’s in ignition;

Spacing out and forgetting to put gas in car (here’s a newsflash…most people put gas in tank BEFORE going into store to shop)

Failing to allow some extra margin of time for unforeseen delay’s (flat tire, traffic, you name it) during a three hour road trip.

Sooo…how could this scenario become any worse ? Her cell phone would have been charged and then waiting two hours for road serv ice to show up and unlock door….OR….

Driving Stupid and getting a ticket

Sorry, but as a native born and raised there, have to tell you that the name of the city is “Pittsburgh”. There is a “Pittsburg” in some other state.

Also notice the next day’s strip showed Bern offering Delta the Trail Mix and Drinks for lunch… it can be reasonably assumed that in paying for these, she purchased the gas…..

To answer the only valid question in this thread, The “Dong” is the gas low level alarm, since they didn’t get gas at the station.
