Is this all we’re going to see of Mysta’s parents? I hope not!

Isn’t he just covering his & Tracy’s butts by using that excuse?

It looks like Richard is wearing a CPO’s cover there in the inset. That does not look like an officer’s cap device.

Oh, so Sail doesn’t want to scam the Traceys directly, as well. That’s an interesting twist. I’d just assumed he was going to sic her on them, too. Hence his not getting too excited about Mysta’s excursions. Guess not.

Is Sail about to blow his build-up by attempting to filch that model of the Space Coupe (last panel)? Diet seems pretty canny; and I would certainly not trust Dr. Sail for one second, so why should he?

Maybe on Monday, Dr Sail is going to sail that model of the Space Coup to Diet Smith.

Glad to see a few scenes of Mysta today. I was kind of expecting to see her all week after the great unveiling last weekend.

What exactly IS Dr. Sail claiming? The caption says he is claiming to have cloned Moon Maid. Yet, Diet refers to this as “bringing Moon Maid back to life” Sail talks about her as if she is the original, with memories intact, which most commenters here think would not be possible for a clone. This makes for an interesting story, but we have strayed very far into the realm of fantasy, unless this whole thing IS some sort of scam Sail and Ghote are trying to put across.

As far as I know, there has never been any type of a law against flying the space coupe back to the moon. So why the great secrecy about their Christmas flight? Smith could have defused this whole situation by simply stating that he had already been to the moon (or at least had come contact with the moon) and that the moon people were no longer there. .End of issue. No more reason for anyone to go there. Whatever sham they are running is ruined. (And Mike ask to come up with a new plot…and the new Moon Era has ended).While I am enjoying the current storyline, I guess I am confused as to why the trip has to be such a deep dark secret. Seems to be a major hole in the plot line.

Because the Tracy clan would spot any little problems with her? I still think they didn’t clone her.

And while you’re at it, Michyle, when you find out, let me in on it, as well.

i dont think sail is going to steal that model of the space coupe… more lik “petting something he desires”… but as to WHY ghote and sail want to get to the moon so badly… well thats anyone’s guess.

When I saw panel 3, I almost burst out laughing – that may be the moon governor to you, but I recognize Flash Gordon and Dale Arden, with knobby antennas and pinwheel eyes!Brilliant touch, Joe!

You (and others) said: …" I never believed it was “adverse effects of magnetism” for why he grounded his fleet…".-——————————————————Diet told Tracy (and us) long ago that he grounded his space coupes (and similar gear) because he didn’t want any more of them to fall ito the hands if criminals (as happened in the Mr. Bribery story, and was recferred to in the recent visit to Mrs. Chin Chillar).Smith admitted the “adverse effects of magnetism” wa simply a cover story.

Well, now they got the model the right colour.

So nice to see Moon Maid’s parents. I always enjoyed their characters. I SINCERELY hope that they are still alive and will take part in this storyline. I was sad when Diet Smith said the Governor had sworn off any connection with earthlings at Moon Maid’s funeral. Great job with them Joe Staton. I am LOVING this storyline arc.

Diet Smith is no one’s fool….as soon as this conversation with Sail is over, his next talk with be with DICK TRACY.

I have this feeling Dr. Sail may try to stab Diet Smith with that model of the space coupe.
