The Dalai Lama went to Peru on a visit, and was given a llama. He decided to have a toy produced (ā€¦a Dalai Lama llama dollyā€¦) to sell as a fund-raiser. The marketing people thought it might sell better if they changed it every day, and kept the price low. Thus was the evolution of the ā€œDaily Dollar Dalai Lama Llama Dollyā€. Top that, Steve!

Reading a comic like this is like savoring a fine wine. It demands slow and careful reading from the first panel. A herd of cattle that used to belong to Hoss? This absurd line immediately lets us know that weā€™re being set up for a major pun. And while thereā€™s almost no chance of figuring out the gag before the last panel, anticipation is itself a pleasure. So I read each panel slowly and carefully, making sure not to miss anything. And the (pun)ch line was well worth waiting for. Great job!
