Dr. Sail seems to have this covered, doesn’t he?

Sail’s goon is trying to steal the Space Coupe, and we’re supposed to believe he’s legit? Pass.

And of course Dr. Sail would say that…

Not a bad answer, but, his credibility isn’t the best.

So if the motive is to steal the space coupe, wouldn’t they use Moon Maid’s power to fire it up like she’s doing with the car?

Nice try Dr. Sail. Diet Smith isn’t likely to buy it.So, everybody else is out of the room? Hope Sail’s the only dangerous one.

Plausibility, Dr. S. Tim Sail? Negligible. I can’t believe that a veteran business tycoon like Diet Smith would fall for that load of horse manure. Warbucks would lie to Tracy but employ you on a top secret project? Yeah, and I’m Captain Jack Sparrow….Stellaluna is full-out panicked. Dr. Ghote and Retik are trying to calm her. And Tracy and Sam are off to intercept Bardoll before he can kill again: who is out there that he might be assigned to assassinate, hmm?

Anyone want to be Diet Smith knows more about that project than Sail does? I think “Doctor” Sail just “cut his own throat”.

Cut the smoking, will you? You’ll ignite the smoke detectors!

No, not the old “security clearance” line. Blah. Anybody got a chill pill to toss to Stellaluna? And if I’m Retik, I’d let Dr. Ghote know it’s time to take his hands off her…

Is it just me or has this once-promising story lost its way in lots of people standing around talking?

I would believe Oliver Warbucks long before I’d believe this clown.

You can’t have it both ways, Dr. Sail. You can’t use Warbucks as a reference, then claim that Warbucks is lying about him employing you.

Dr. Sail’s arrogance in Panel 3 is incredible. Some people just don’t know when to throw in the towel.

first of all, stellaluna ISNT panicking.. she’s playing a DISTRACTION so that the others (smith, tracy, sam, etc) dont notice that shes gone… second, petersandy you better watch out otherwise youll get thrown under the bus :).. third, ashmael and all the others who have posted about having the characters quit smoking… grow up, its a frickin COMIC STRIP! youre complaining about people SMOKING while theres drug overdoses, murders, domestic violence, muggings, vigilantism, shoot outs, bank robberies and attempted robberies and kidnappings happening?!? SERIOUSLY?!?!?

tell ya what.. compared to THAT, i’d take a smoking character any day!

A sure way to know when someone doesn’t have a security clearance is when they claim to have one!

I’m continuing to not like Stellaluna and Retik. I think the whole band of them are crooks. Book ’em, Danno.

Isn’t this the point where Smith calls security to keep Sail and Co. under guard?I haven’t noticed any comment by Tracy about Ghote’s appearance with Mysta. (Of course, things hit the fan pretty fast.)As if Sail’s phony claim wasn’t enough, Ghote’s appearance should have been enough to prove the whole “clone Mysta” thing a scam.Oh, one last thing — I dunno about Smith, but I’d be tempted to sock Sail on principle alone.

Good observation folks and good distraction technique from Stellaluna. “myst a” should have the car started and outside by now. Time to get outta Dodge.

Let’s take a closer look at Dr. Sail’s remark in the third panel. The only reason for Warbucks to tell Tracy a lie (“the Lazarus project was about depleted oil fields”) rather than the truth (“it’s classified beyond your clearance”) would be that Warbucks is trying to mislead Tracy in an investigation of Sail… for what purpose? Probably not a purpose directly involving Tracy and the MCS, but a purpose in which he is simply a tool for doing… something… to Sail et al, or possibly to Diet Smith. Which could be quite interesting… but it would require making Warbucks a recurring character in the strip, rather than just a cool one-off Sunday guest shot. Team Tracy has done some pretty audacious things in the last year or so, but I think this would be a bit ambitious even for them! So my money’s on Sail stalling for time now that Smith’s seen through him. But for what purpose…? And whose side is Bardoll on…?

I am enjoying this tremendously.

Me too. I’m loving this story so much. The art is always superior, and there are so many subplots and dramatic tensions and mysteries. Who is Mysta most of all! What is Sail’s game? Will Bardoll get away with the Space Coupe? Where is Sparkle, and what will she remember? Where will Mysta go now? How will all the drama with Junior and Sparkle and Honeymoon and Mysta play out? Will Retik and Stellaluna ever make it to the moon? What exactly happened to the moon colony? Where are the moon people? And what about the DNA test? So many things pulling us into this story, it’s a joy to read each day. I’m so hooked it’s not funny!

I don’t want it to end.

anyone ELSE want junior to be the one to stop moon maid lite from making her getaway?!?! i mean c’mon… wouldnt it be GREAT if junior was standing right in front of th ecar preventing her from driving off, then he notices smoke or flames from under the hood, rescuing moon maid lite just in time from th ecar exploding? talk about poetic justice?!?!

then have him be the one to slap the cuffs on her and haul her off to the big house for the next 10-20 for vandalism along with assault and battery :)
