Is that really Tracy? Wouldn’t he say something to someone who was (is?) his daughter-in-law?

Aha! So it’s the old “dazzle-them-with-the-pretty-alien-chick-while-the-ugly-goon-sneaks-in-the-back-door-to-steal-the-Space-Coupe” trick! How cliché can you get?

There’s going to be trouble with Bardolllurking elsewhere as was shown in the last panel.

Clone-Moon Maid recites her lines perfectly, just like a little robotic doll…. Is Bardoll sneaky enough to take down Tracy in Diet Smith’s private office? Or does the ambush wait until Sail’s retinue and Smith and maybe Tracy head for the stored Space Coupe? Will Sail succeed in hijacking the Space Coupe? Why?

Jeeze, all this speculation on why Tracy isn’t speaking!Why isn’t he?Just look at the two panels he appears in and tell me: how many word balloons can you fit in each panel?

…..and again, Stellaluna is showing that she may not be on board with this caper!

Maybe it’s not Tracy, but Fearless Fosdick, and the clone has screwed up big time.

I think Retik and Stellaluna are decent people. Sail has snookered them into his scheme with the promise of them going to the Moon. Ms Mysta-ry seems to say everything by rote. Like one of those dolls that you pull the string.

PS: I’m curious. Did Moon Maid call Diet, “Poppa Smith,” in her original incarnation? That term just seems a little strange for a woman to use that when addressing someone who’s not a blood relative.

this is weird… even for tracy. i dont think thats our intrepid detective standing in front of moon maid lite at all…. he is PROBABLY waiting by the space coupe to catch bardoll.

Maybe Tracy has analyzed the hair sample Honeymoon got. Maybe he knows “Mysta” isn’t a moon-person. Maybe he knows who she really is. I still believe she’s a made-over human with deep psych programming.
